This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Canada’s top employers! We are currently hiring for a Finance Manager for a 1-Year Contract position. We are looking for a passionate leader who can work independently to drive growth opportunities for the company.


This is a highly visible and unique role that supports the Canadian finance division to help drive key projects and provide daily analytics and reporting to optimize company performance. This role will require “roll up the sleeves” type of work, as well as strategize and plan for company growth. There is tremendous learning opportunity in this role and we are looking for someone who can integrate easily with our company. This role will report directly into the VP, Finance and will focus on all things finance and accounting (FP&A / Receivables / Cash Flow / Presentations / Relationship Building), and much more! It is important to note that this role does not have any direct report(s).


  • Provide financial analysis and reporting on company performance; client profitability assessment; month-end analysis and variance drivers; monthly forecasting, cash flow analysis; other analysis as required
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process; ensure reasonability of client profitability
  • Lead monthly client business reviews; challenge the norm
  • Develop and work with new business financial model; perform sensitivity analysis on new business; provide pricing inputs and recommendation
  • Be strong analytically, always thinking about processes and how to improve company performance
  • Lead collections on Accounts Receivables, escalate late paying client issues, partner with business owners to collect cash on time
  • Lead analysis and work with customers to collect funds on short ship deductions
  • Manage and lead budget process, analyze client budget results, identify opportunities and risks, ensure budget inputs from owners are validated
  • Develop solid relationships with the client management teams, and leadership team
  • Be comfortable to present and influence business stake holders
  • Express freely and openly on new ideas, always seeking out new opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • 5-7 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, and reporting
  • CPA, CMA, or CGA designation
  • Ability to “run with things” and always seek out profit opportunities for the business
  • Previous experience with Essbase is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to scrub through data and provide recommendations
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, ability to work with systems and integrating data
  • Driven, self-starter, willing to learn, willing to organize on a daily basis
